In October, Jinah China Studios reaped the benefits of a successful sale with the addition of a brand new baby kiln! The new kiln is a Paragon Xpress 66-3 and can fire as high as cone 6 (2270 degrees Fahreheit)! We've already run several tests and she works like a charm. Test kilns are a super efficient way to fire small pieces and also experiment with clay and glazes without wasting precious time and energy.

So proud of his new baby!

Hey guys,
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to get a hold of you for a story in the Durango Telegraph. Can you call me at 619-955-2396 or email me at kinsee.morlan@gmail.com?

Hi!greetings from Singapore. I am in the process of choosing a kiln. I cane across you because I was researching the same model that you bought. Are you still happy eith it? Is there any disdvantage. Does it become too small as you progress? ( I am an artist used to work with other materials but still a beginer with clay). One of my concerns is the temperature. A 10 cone would give me a wider range of clays to choose from right? From your experience is cone 6 enough?
ReplyDeleteIs it easy to use , this kiln?
I really appreciate some advice from more experient people like you. I have doubts, with so much offer in the market. Thanks alot.
